The Arthur Avenue Special

Gruby's is one of our favorite spots on the island. We go a couple of times a month, and the Arthur Avenue Special is almost always in our order. This is a large one, that can even go larger if you choose (we haven't), but, man, is it good. The Genoa salami, capicola, provolone, lettuce, tomato and onion are all great, but what really sets the flavor on fire is the sweet peppers. Wow, are they good. They look like jalapenos, but they're not. So sweet. The bread is great as well, and we always sub out the coleslaw and get the potato salad, which might be the best on the island. Has a sweet flavor as well. Love this sandwich!
