I live here. I eat everywhere. And I built BestBites around one simple promise: if a dish is on this site, I’d order it again. I don’t review restaurants — I recommend individual dishes, because the best key lime pie and the best fish tacos are almost never under the same roof.

How dishes make the list

BestBites Faves are dishes I’ve loved for years — my personal go-tos. Fan Picks are dishes my followers ask me to try. If a requested dish is great, it joins the list. If it isn’t… you just never hear about it. Nobody gets hurt, and the list stays honest.

The no-pay promise

No restaurant has ever paid to be featured, and none ever will. I pay for my own meals. That’s the whole business model of trust.
