Carolina Crunch Burger

First off, they call themselves a tavern, but it has more of the feel of a country club. Just a beautiful setting. And if you're golfing at one of the courses inside of Hilton Head Plantation, this is just about as big a no-brainer as you'll find for a beer and food after a round. But don't worry, anyone can enjoy this place, just tell them at the gate that you're heading there for a meal. And, if you like burgers, you won't be able to do much better than this one. Whoa! They have quite a few to choose from, so I went with the server's fave. Servers know. And in this case, spot on. This is not a spicy burger, even considering the jalapeno jelly. The BBQ sauce is amazing and is the dominant flavor. And that's a good thing in this instance. The onion rings were a nice touch and the beef was cooked to a medium perfection.
