Patrick Taylor wanted a beach bar he could ride his bike to. He opened five tables in a corner of Coligny Plaza in the late nineties; friends thought it wouldn’t last. The place he built is an institution now — famous for frozen daiquiris, quietly good at the food nobody expects.
